Since retiring from teaching, I have discovered a love for working with clay. I enjoy hand building, throwing on a wheel, and playing with surface decoration using a variety of techniques. Incorporating multiple colors, textures and patterns provides me with endless opportunity for exploration and ever-changing results. Transforming a piece of clay into something functional and joyful is the goal with everything I make. My pieces tend to be one of a kind with a hint of the whimsical woven in because that’s what makes it fun for me.
