The mission of 14 South Artists is to promote the visual arts in the communities and rural areas of South Central Wisconsin by providing opportunities for artist-to-artist interactions, educational programs, exhibitions and events.
Our key operational premise is that to truly sustain and promote art, you have to present it to the general public to see, enjoy and own. Therefore, our objectives are to help our member artists connect with the public in order to sell their work and to educate the public on visual art media, methods, artists, and enjoyment.
Who We Are
We are a group of artists of diverse media from diverse backgrounds. Art is a passion we love to share through art shows and other venues where people can see and purchase. You do not have to sell your art or even be an artist to belong to 14 South Artists.
The majority of our members live in south central Wisconsin, with the vast majority living south of Madison near US Highway 14 in Dane, Rock and Green Counties. Join us for a member meeting (the 2nd Monday of each month at the Oregon Fire Station) to learn more about what we do and take in our monthly educational presentation.
